large page #21, sampling of military uniforms (a la ‘from the front,’ other related writings of mine) The super tiny writing wasn’t really written with legibility in mind, so spare yourself and just regard it as decoration.
pilots, infantrymen, trench coats, etc. being commented on in regard to three of the major allied forces (within the purple outline) and the Dunnish Imperial Army.
I dunno what to say. They're all great.
Glad you like them. They'd look a little more varied in color. The difference between Anna here and the Conductor is......enormous. Your word choice amuses me as I also saw the Conductor as very humble-looking here as a simple infantryman (while Anna could have been even fancier with the coat and hat of her personal uniform on- even as she's technically illustrating how there was no standard uniform for an officer within the Dunnish Imperial Air Fleet).
I wonder if Anna ever bothered to contact the Conductor during the war itself; the chain of command probably doesn't drift out that far...
I'm sure she could've (as one of the highest-ranking officers in the entire empire she could get in touch with anybody, I imagine), but I don't know if she did...
I'm sure he tried to send her couple messages but they were either intercepted by Intelligence or simply never made it far past the Front.
And then there's the added misfortune that she'd be too busy flying over him to ever be in contact.
I'm not sure he did that, seeing as she was probably madder than the emperor was that he chose not to serve in the air- she wasn't about to do him any favors unless he pledged his ship to the cause. From the front back to imperial air hq it probably would've taken a while for a message to make it though, that's true.
I'll be up for a few hours yet trying to get comic stuff done, but then it's right off to work tomorrow.
I hope you managed something good and have a pleasant time off working!
