Just playing around with Drawcast yet again.
I took a picture of one of Van Gogh's sketches for Café Terrace at Night out of the 'Van Gogh Master Draftsman' book (from that museum show) and drew/colored over it last night.

The cool night air pushed through the corridors of Arles with a firm, but gentle certainty. Windows and doors were locking up and people were taking to their quarters. But the terrace was a world removed. Its lanthorne blossomed mightily, bringing its charges below into a warm amber embrace. The cast iron tables with their glassy tops shone back in kind. If the light were the door that shuttered out the surrounding cold, then the cafe au lait in Kimblee's hand was the lock and key. A perfect blend- a perfect composition- of luminescence and aroma.
